Barrier 4th, crash for Millet

Sylvain Barrier did a good free practice session and he finished in 4th position behind Xavier Simeon, Ayrton Badovini and Claudio Corti.

Julien Millet started well the session, but he crashed on his 8th lap. He was not hurt.

Sylvain Barrier: “I was really ready for the first laps and I tried hard since the beginning. The session went well. There are many little things we have to work on, including the feeling with the front.”

Michel Garnier (team manager): “Sylvain’s session went pretty well. He is fourth, four tenths of a second from the fastest rider. This is promising for the qualifying session. Julien started well as he was 8th when he crashed. He stopped in the pits and then crashed after two laps, maybe because of cold tyres. He lost the front. Happily he is not hurt. Tomorrow will be better.
